Blade, along with his life-long friend Whistler battle vampires. Blade was born of a mother bitten by a vampire, he possesses all their strengths and none of their weaknesses. He is known as the day walker because sunlight does not affect him. With the addition of a new ally, Dr. Karen Jenson, Blade endeavors to prevent the evil Frost from unleashing the blood god upon the world. When Blade's mother was bitten by a vampire during pregnancy, she did not know that she gave her son a special gift while dying: All the good vampire attributes in combination with the best human skills. Blade grew up to be a vampire hunter for revenge on his mother's death. The vampires, who managed to infiltrate nearly every major organization, need Blade's very special blood to summon La Magra, the blood god, in order to reign over the human cattle, as they call us. Honestly Wesley Snipes was absolutely amazing and awesome as Blade. He definitely reminds me of legends such as Duke Nukem and Buffy The Vampire Slayer who make sure that everybody around the world is safe from the bad guys and other evil acquaintances. The storyline was very good, I liked how it showed us how and when he was born, I forgotten the date but whatever date it was, it should be an official Blade Day in my opinion! I have to admit I didn't like the blood and gore but I loved the action involved in it. It was really enjoyable!

However, I didn't like in the ending where he was about to kill a Vampire, I would actually would love to have seen him kill the vampire! I think it would be better if they made that happen because I would certainly avoid the sequels, they aren't good as this!

If you haven't seen this, go watch it, just don't watch the sequels! I first saw this movie when I was a freshman in high school. I thought it was awesomely directed and Wesley Snipes did an awesome job portraying the dark character that is Blade.

The movie itself has that dark and mystery quality to it that I think the later sequels really lacked.

The disappointing fact is that the characters King and Van Helsing were never ultimately introduced into the film in the beginning, rather King is introduced in the third and final installment and Van Helsing is depicted as a male rather than a female with a separate movie instead of Blade as it was in the original comic book. Wesley Snipes understands the material from the inside out and makes an effective Blade because he knows that the key ingredient in any interesting superhero is not omnipotence, but vulnerability. Instead of giving in to his thirst, half-vampire Eric "Blade" Brooks (Wesley Snipes) uses his vampiric strengths and the weapons designed for him by his mentor Abraham Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) to protect humans and destroy vampires. Aided by Whistler and Dr Karen Jenson (N'Bushe Wright), a hematologist whom Blade rescued after she was bitten by a vampire, they search for a way to assuage Blade's growing thirst for blood. Meanwhile, the vampire nation is undergoing a schism. Purebloods led by Dragonetti (Udo Kier) wish to maintain a peaceful co-existence with humans, while turned-vampire Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff) wants to reign over human "cattle" and intends to awaken the blood god La Magra in order to do so. Unfortunately, Frost needs Blade's blood to do it. Blade is based on a vampire hunter featured in Marvel Comics. He was created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan. Blade's first appearance was in The Tomb of Dracula #10 (July 1973) as a supporting character. The comic book Blade was adapted for the movie by American screenwriter David Goyer. The movie Blade was followed by two sequels, Blade II (2002) (2002) and Blade: Trinity (2004) (2004). In the Blade universe, there are two ways to become a vampire. One is to be born vampire (a "pureblood"), and the other is to be bitten by one. In Blade's case, his pregnant human mother was bitten by a vampire just before giving birth. Although he began life as a human, the vampire trait is now a part of his DNA. Blade possesses all of their strengths (e.g., speed, strength). However, other than the thirst for blood, he possesses none of their weaknesses, e.g., aversion to sunlight, giving rise to his nickname "Daywalker". The name of the song is "Chinchin". The words come from a kindergarten song used by Japanese girls to embarrass one another, beginning "chinchin, burabura, souseiji!", "chinchin" being slang or childish term for "penis", "burabura" being a Japanese "gitaigo" (a sort of abstract onomatopoeia term referring to something which is both hung from something else and moving), and "souseiji", a transliteration of the word "sausage". Use your imagination. The band is the Osaka group, "Bang Wa Cherry", its two members being Kuriyama Kyoko and Takahime Mesuko. Their MySpace page is here. Bang Wa Cherry is unsigned, has no albums available, and apparently no other songs (at least recorded ones) other than the performance of the above-mentioned song in Blade. They are, however, reported to occasionally do unpublicized club appearances in the Osaka area. 1968 Dodge Charger. (Although all '68 through '70 Chargers share the same body! Only the bumpers, lights, and various trim– which the automobile industry refers to as "cosmetics–" vary from year to year.) More info on this car and the other vehicles seen in the film is here. He was wearing sunblock, presumably a custom sunblock for Vampires that has very high UV protection. In traditional lore, a "familiar" is an animal who works for a witch. In this movie, a "familiar" is a human who works for/with vampires. They usually have one vampire who is their master and if they prove themselves useful, the vampire will make them a vampire, too. Karen frees Blade from the bloodletting device, but he has been so drained that he can't even stand. She allows him to feed on her blood, restoring his strength. After "releasing" his mother, Blade makes his way to the Temple of Eternal Night, where Deacon Frost has succeeded in turning himself into La Magra. After decapitating Quinn (Donal Logue) and taking back his sunglasses, Blade takes on all of Frost's vampire guards. Karen destroys Mercury (Arly Jover) by spraying her in the face with the garlic mace. Blade then turns on La Magra, and they clash swords. Blade manages to cut off La Magra's arm and slice him in half, but the Blood God immediately regenerates. When La Magra taunts Blade about the "serum" on which he is dependent, Blade realizes that he's referring to EDTA vials. Blade grabs the vials and unloads every one of them into La Magra's body, causing him to explode. As Blade and Karen exit the temple, Blade refuses Karen's serum and tells her to work on it until she can make a better serum. In the meantime, he still has work to do. The final scene takes place in Moscow where a vampire is about to attack his date. Suddenly, Blade appears and takes on the vampire. a5c7b9f00b Angels Ghosts movie mp4 downloadShowdown at Casa Diablo: Part 1 full movie download 1080p hdThe Jurassic Games hd mp4 downloadEpisode 1.18 full movie in hindi free download hd 1080phindi Triumph of the Taste: A Film of Epic FlavorEpisode 1.121 full movie hd 1080p downloadThe Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings full movie in hindi downloadEpisode 1.259 in hindi movie downloadDownload the The Gift full movie tamil dubbed in torrentSpeed Racer full movie with english subtitles online download
